TITLE (This is tough love everybody) is a month long multi-disciplinary artist residency programme produced by Solstice.
Six artists from various backgrounds in dance and theatre will come to work in Cork for the month of June with the aim of developing a work-in-progress production to be presented at Solstice as part of the Cork Midsummer Festival. During the residency the six TITLE artists will be mentored by Thomas Conway and other Cork based arts professionals and will participate in workshops by visiting
practitioners.
The aims of the TITLE Residency programme are to put Cork on a map as a centre for creative production, to create links among TITLE artists and Cork based artists and venues with the hope that these connections might lead to future collaborations and to provide the time and space to artists early in their careers that they need to develop new work to provide professional development opportunities for emerging artists.
